Olivia Burton, 23, moved to California with her boyfriend – Francis Morales, 24 years old – going against the wishes of their respective family members. Francis’ mother, Lillian, is a devotees Catholic who disapproves the coexistence of her son and makes her feelings known in the form of violent cards with religious theme. Despite these objections, young lovers settle in their new exciting life together. Their happiness is interrupted, however, after a strange accident leaves Francis physically and mentally injured.
