Story

"Mufasa: The Lion King" recruits Rafiki to pass on the legend of Mufasa to the young lion Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, while Timon and Pumbaa lend their signature. Told through flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone, until he meets a lovable lion named Taka, heir to the royal line. A chance encounter sets off an expansive journey for an extraordinary group of misfits in search of their destiny – their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a sinister and deadly enemy.
