Star Wars The Acolyte Cancellation CHAOS! (2024). The story is good.

The textures are horrible

But the animation is so bad. There are so many problems where they mix 2D and 3D. Fake depth of field, characters floating in the air as they walk.

The voice acting is mediocre

Mediocre direction. Shame for such a good story. All in all it’s a solid 6.

Compared to modern Japanese anime, this is super bad

If this came out 20 years ago, it would probably be 8. But as an art director, I can’t overlook those rookie mistakes regarding art style, taking shortcuts by reducing character action and movement. As someone who makes art and reviews art on a daily basis, this is amber for such a big budget movie.
